Tendances Concept uses materials and raw materials that not only meet the most stringent demands in the industry but also, above all, satisfy our customers' expectations in terms of durability, aesthetics and functionality.

A rigorous selection

We are aware that our expertise in creating kitchen cabinets and fittings, as well as bathrooms and storage units, is not enough to fully satisfy our customers. The quality of the recommended materials and hardware is a cornerstone of our philosophy of excellence.

In this regard, we have implemented a very rigorous purchasing process. We have a proven process for finding and selecting suppliers. They need to comply with the exacting standards that we define. All parts received are thoroughly inspected before use.

Because we are convinced of the effectiveness of our purchasing process and because we have been fine-tuning it for over 30 years, we can offer our customers a lifetime warranty on hardware and a five-year warranty on the materials used to fabricate our products.

Characteristics of the different materials:

 MELAMINE, POLYESTERS, LAMINATES

Melamine cabinets ($)

Melamine is, in fact, a particle board (commonly called agglomerate) covered in hot and pressurized form with a sheet of resin-impregnated paper. There is a wide choice of colors, finishes and is used both vertically and horizontally, but never in the counter. This material is easy to maintain and has good resistance to wear, heat, light as well as most chemicals and abrasions. It adapts very well to all budgets and is an economical choice.

Disadvantages

Wide choice of colors and finishes

Difficult to retouch in case of scratches

Easy to maintain

It is difficult to tolerate frequent or continuous contact with a liquid substance in cuts and edges (edges)

Economical (fits to all budgets)

Limited door styles

Good resistance to wear, heat, bending, light, and most chemicals and abrasion

Polyester melamine cabinets ($)

This material is in fact a mixture of two materials, the center of the door is melamine while the shutters are made of particles covered with a polyester film. So, we can find a lower-priced wood look. Indeed, the patterns and patterns are much akin to the wooden doors. It is more durable than regular melamine and is resistant to fading. There is a great consistency in terms of color and is easy to maintain.

With the same advantages as regular melamine and without emanations, the NU Green is certified FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) and ECCMC (eco-certified composite panel Association). It contains 100% recycled and reclaimed wood fibers (pre-consumption), which saves trees and avoids filling waste dumps. In addition, there is no resin used in the manufacture. the NU Green is an environmentally friendly solution, perfect for interior designs and very moisture resistant.

Laminate cabinets ($$)

This material offers a choice of styles, textures and finishes more diversified than melamine. It is easy to maintain and has good resistance to wear, heat, bending, light and most chemical products. Laminate is a sheet-based panel of Paper power overlay, in addition to a sheet of decor paper, the whole paper is impregnated with resin and then pressed hotly to Polymerization. Laminate is a thin coating Board that is used in veneer on a Particleboard. The edges are also made of laminating, unlike melamine panels that are made of PVC. Some laminates are more abrasion resistant.

The songs (edges) are made also to laminate, unlike the melamine cabinets that are made PVC.

Some laminates are more abrasion resistant

European laminate cabinets ($$)

The European laminate is a European-style textured melamine from Italy. Thanks to its natural texture, it is very resistant and easy to maintain. This material creates relief and a modern European style. The European laminate offers a variety of colors and textures. It is a product entirely developed in Europe and is derived from new developments in research and technological advancement.

Thermoplastic

Thermoplastics cabinets ($$)

Composed of an MDF base on which is molded, by the heat, a film of plastic material, it is possible to produce reliefs and models of doors with wood gaits, without any joints. This material is durable and resistant to moisture. There is a wide choice of styles and doors. However, it is sensitive to temperatures over 85 degrees Celsius.

Polyethylene ($$)

Polyethylene (polyethylene terephthalate) is the new environmentally friendly material in plastics. A versatile and attractive, economical and resistant product. It is available in a matte finish as glossy and is offered in several colors. Polyethylene is one of the thermoplastics resins. It has very good resistance to shocks and chemical agents.

LACQUER ON MDF ($$$)

Lacquer cabinets on MDF are available in matte, glossy and Italian-style finishes. These are models that resemble wooden doors while being environmentally friendly because their manufacture does not result in direct slaughter of trees. Medium density fiberboard, MDF, English medium density fiberboard, is made from wood shavings supplemented with synthetic resin. Wood fibers used in the manufacture of MDF are usually derived from pruning timber and wood machining wastes, which allows optimal use of the trees. This material is very insensitive to climatic variations and is homogeneous in all three dimensions. It is also a more economical choice than wood. Tendances Concept offers the development of colors according to the palette you desire (e.g.: Benjamin Moore color palette).

Very insensitive to climate change

Homogeneous in all three dimensions, no defect

More economical than wood

Curve less than wood

Nu green MDF cabinets (green product) ($$$)

No formaldehyde-based resin is used in the manufacturing process. Its level of formaldehyde emission is as low as that of a tree found in its natural environment. Always with the same advantages as the regular MDF and lHe product does not contain an emanation.

Wood veneer cabinets ($$$)

Wood veneer indicates a thin sheet of wood glued to a particle board or MDF base. This is an interesting option that is less costly than solid wood and is very similar in appearance. This exotic wood veneer concept allows to create interesting visual effects according to the importance of the grain and pigments a contemporary kitchen giving it character with rich and distinct hues. Its color is likely to be altered by sunlight, which is why the anti-UV finish is included by Tendances Concept.

Reconstituted wood cabinets ($$$$)

The reconstituted wood consists of several layers of wood of different species. The veneer sheets are glued to each other, blending several colors neatly, while following a recipe specific to each wood essence wanting to be emulated until a solid block is obtained.

Thereafter, this block is compressed in a press containing trays of irregular shapes and is sliced at different angles recreating thus, the different aspects of natural woods, while having the possibility to reproduce thousands of leaves of the same color as at the grain level. This material has been the appearance of wood and allows to recreate exotic wood species. Its color is likely to be altered by sunlight, which is why the anti-UV finish is included by Tendances Concept.

NEW MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY (One + Tendances Concept)

LaserEdge

Tendances Concept uses LaserEdge technology that allows to make veneers without glue and without apparent joints. This technology uses a laser beam to permanently merge the edge band to the Particleboard or MDF panel.

Thanks to the invisible seals, no dirt will be raised in the joints and these will not be yellowed. This results in a panel with a perfect appearance, increased longevity and simplified maintenance. In addition, LaserEdge panels have a better resistance to heat and moisture than simply glued panels. They are offered in a wide variety of colors, harmonizing with any decor.

PUR Glue Technology

At Tendances Concept, we use a new manufacturing technology in order to continue to offer you the quality of the concepts to which you are accustomed. This technology, hot melt adhesive, is a tested and proven product intended for applications with invisible joints. We use the hot melt adhesive for the edges in laminate, polyester, PVC, resin paper, ABS or PP, in solid wood and veneers. One of the reasons why we use this technology is because it is ideal for a collage and high-quality joints.

The melt pure react with the moisture content of the material to stick and the ambient air. In addition to harden, they undergo a chemical reaction that positively affects the properties of collage. In terms of membership and properties of heat resistance and water, the pure melt is hard to beat.

Benefits
